There are 5v rails too yes. I think those fail less often but they fail too, good point.

and yea I am sad to hear that about Asus as well, though their laptops are amazing Smile

dude... we have these stupid low profile lenovo's and we've had them out for like 5 months? and we've already blown 6 of them... stupid low profile laptop parts based desktops! stupid power bricks keep dieing!

Heavy use and a lot of travel in the last 6 months and it is running fine.

you know the funny thing is exactly that. Our lenovo laptops are still rock solid 6 years later, and we bought some the same time and those have no issues.

we had 450 lenovo desktops, though they were ibm branded but made by lenovo, and those were rock solid.

i think it's this hybrid laptop wanna be desktop crap that sucks lol.

lol, I build my own desktops - this one is a BEAST even almost 2years later.
