I had this already incase you decided to argue for the sake of arguing and this will be the last time i mention it for you. I don't argue with you because u argue for the sake of arguing which is about as silly as it gets which if it's not for bettering oneself whats the point?
FYI i know their canadians and milla and I discussed that already... you just been pwnt. So long as they play in america they are an american team... i'm born indian.. does that make me an indian... no i'm an american. So long as you play and live in america you are an american palyer on a american team. And before you start thorwing technicalties don't bother as I don't care
As i'm sure your going to throw some five page response in here to relgion, canadian supremacy, mac superiority and perhaps last weeks porno you may if you wish but i won't respond to you.
Debating with someone who wants to debate because they think they can learn somthing make sense. I actually half expected you to post somthing here and it was actually a test to figure out how well i had figured you out. it worked pretty well
I realized why i quit aruging the religion stuff with you. It wasn't cause i was frustrated with arguiing with you it's that i realized that you aren' trying to better yourself but simply because you like arguing which is all fine and dandy but it's just stupid to do. it would be like me fighiting with my wife with no end game... simply a waste of time. Just some stuff for you to ponder.
i know this post will come off harsh but it's a combination of things fromrecent and past trolling . Don't take it the wrong way.

FYI, when a thread is hijacked serious debate goes out the window. And arguing about hockey is just silly anyway, lighten up. Watch it, love it, masturbate to it, do whatever you gotta do. Just don't expect a serious discussion about it with this motley crew.
I'm Canadian and I fucking hate hockey. Always have. I find it incredibly boring to watch and get pissed off when it pre-empts regular programming. So what you say? Exactly, so what...

A man enters a bar and orders a drink. The bar has a robot
bartender. The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, and
then asks him, "What's your IQ?"
The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds to make conversation about global warming factors, quantum physics and spirituality, biochemistry, environmental interconnectedness, string theory, nano-technology, and sexual proclivities.
The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool."
He decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the perfectly prepared drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"
The man responds, "Around 100."
Immediately the robot starts talking, but this time, about football, fast cars, baseball, super models, favourite fast foods, guns, and women's breasts.
Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He returns, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"
The man replies, "Duuuh, 50, I think."
And the robot says... real slowly.
"So...............you gon-na cheer for the Avalanche a-gain this year?"
You've just been pwned. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
Kthanxbai.
Dude what a lame ass argument and obvious sign you are just trying to pick I fight. I love it when a certain Canadian attempts to put people in their places and just ends up looking like a douche bag.
There is nothing wrong at all with a person being proud of a team they support. Based on your argument if you live in Canada you cannot root for the Raptors/Blue Jays or be excited if they win.

Damn office firewall. Here be me predicted wall of text.
/wall of text crits you
To Milla: Dude, that robotness was gold. I laughed out loud in the middle of a very quiet office and everyone looked at me funny.
To Jarhead: I completely agree with you that there's nothing wrong about being proud of your team. The idea of the Maple Leafs or the Canucks in the finals for the Stanly Cup is simply awesome to me. Canucks might have a chance but the Leafs are hopeless despite being the highest money-making franchise in the NHL. Discussing who's got the better team within the NHL is fair game. However, once you go off boastfully shooting your mouth off that the "Canadian teams aren't even being in the top 15" (paraphrased) then you cross the border into what I like to call retardation. If the Toronto Raptors were actually winning games and I went about boasting on how the Raptors were decimating all the American teams, implying that a Canadian team was beating Americans at their own beloved sport that they take pride in ... I would HOPE someone would point out that there are in fact no Canadian players on the team and in fact are in the majority, American.
Of course, I would never be so exceptionally retarded and ignorant in the first place to boast like that. And alas, I doubt Toronto will be able to field a winning team in baseball, basketball, or hockey in the next half century anyways. You seem overly critical here on an innocently wikipedia'd and childish reply post. It's almost like you're bitter that I pointed out that your 1 in 3 pregnant women dying from H1N1 was erroneous. Dude, I was trying to stop the hype. Sorry for quelling your fear-fueled notions of the big bad swine flu. Won't do it again. Actually no, I probably will.
To Monsieur Le Master:
LOL! You were waiting for me to post? Did I get under your skin a bit? Glad someone’s thinking about me ... makes me want to wish upon a star.
And like most things, you’ve only got a mediocre understanding of me and have assumed much. Sure I like to argue but it isn’t pointless ... the whole point is to compare two sides of an issue and see which side comes out stronger via the debaters. High school debating teams don’t go into debates to learn shit; they learn the shit BEFORE they get into the debate. Why do you think I’m usually versed with both sides of the arguments’ strengths and weakness? The debate itself is about practicing your debating skills, dummy. It’s like poker ... to win a tournament, you’ve got to play the player not the cards. And see who comes out on top.
And I love this:
Quote::
Again pwnt in stats just like the religion debate
Dude, I can't believe you think you won that debate! We mopped the floor with you. You blatantly failed to answer many of our questions while doing nothing more than prove your ineptitude in understanding science as we know it today. And what questions you did answer, were shown to be full of holes. Typical ... claiming victory by ignoring the blatant truth of your failure. This I sensed would be your shelter, your fortress of denial: I've seen it repeatedly. Do I or the scientific community know all the answers? No, never claimed to. Yet you claim a book written over 2000 years ago has all of the answers, or at least "The bible itself has NEVER been disproven." ... and we've shown you that it doesn't have all the answers and it definitely has parts of it that are wrong. And what do you say?

Again pwnt in stats just like the religion debate
LOL
It’s not my fault that you’ve clung on to losing sides with weak logic and poor science and/or stats. It may not be my fault, but shit, of course I’m gonna point it out. I play for an aussie rules football team. That's what we do: point out shit when mates do/say something stupid. And make fun and have a good laugh. And then move on.
I’m such an infrequent poster ... the fact that you were sitting there waiting for me to post (or at least half-expecting to) ... LOL that’s some kind of wonderful. I win again. Teehee, giggle giggle.
I smell a threadlock coming on...
Wrecks, I unfortunately will agree with your observations of nice guys finishing last. I work in an office full of nice guys/gals aka pushovers. Diligently working hard, hoping the higher ups will notice. And yet, it's the asshole who gets noticed, gets shit done bcos he doesn't worry about a consensus, and who gets the choice projects to work on ... although talent also helps in that area. Personally, I go with what works time and time again. Being a pushover certainly doesn't do it. At all.

I'm beginning to think that if there's nothing left here to do but argue about hockey and drudge up old flame wars, then this site might as well close up shop and call it a day. Every second thread devolves into bickering and name calling and ends up having to be locked.
Tell me; when did being rude, harsh and inconsiderate to your fellow man become the gold standard for acceptable adult behavior?
And so here we are full circle, back to where Wrecks started this post: people and their behavior. With all that's going on in the world, do you not see how silly it is to posture about things that don't really matter? It's not about who's hockey team is best. It's not about how many Canadians play on an American team or vice versa. It's not about who wins the debates. It's not about who can get under the others skin the most. What are we becoming as people and as a society?
Prehistoric tribalism - that's what it boils down to. Club waving! "Roar!!!! My tribe is best! We own joo! Not only do we own joo, we grind you into dirt till you say uncle for good measure too. We own joo so bad that you will never try to own us again! Brahhhh! I win! I make toughest and loudest words!"
Puh-lease... I expect this from the kids on the playground at school...at least they have a good reason for acting the way they do.

You are a little man.
There was nothing wrong with the comment made by Master to Milla. Especially since it was a response to Milla's, "He was pissed off that a Canadian team kicked Colorado's ass once again." It was completely fair and funny that Master brought up that all the Canadian teams aren't even in the top 15. He was simply jabbing back at Milla like friends do.
You on the other hand come in with you retard research strength and attempt to make it something else. You took a simple my team is better argument and attempted to make it more.

WHY?!?!?! It is a fucking sport?
Why must everything be an argument for you. Or are you the kind of person that the highlight of your day is debating. It does not make you look intellectual.

Hey, don't sell yourself short.

You didn't point out shit. You actually referenced some article you assumed was right. Since I haven't been to the H1N1 topic since my last post let me respond here.
I was referencing a press conference with Tom Skinner and a briefing by Dr. Anne Schuchat about the illness on pregnant women.
Skinner - "Since the virus was first recognized in late April, early May, 100 pregnant women across the country have been hospitalized due to the novel H1N1 flu and 28 have died" -
1 out of 3 but if our like how about 7/25. Happy?
Skinner - “It’s hard to say if what we’re seeing now is out of the ordinary compared to the how pregnant women have been affected by the seasonal flu,” Skinner said. “But what we are hearing from physicians around the country is that they’ve never seen pregnant women impacted like this by the flu"

What hype was I perpetrating? I was speaking with regards to my PREGNANT wife and soon to be newborn.
NO WHERE did I say everyone in the world needs to be vaccinated now or die.
It is very obvious to higher risk people (pregs, children, old) that the swine flu can be very serious; to normal healthy people it is about the same as the seasonal. Obviously it has been a while since you have been around a woman Henry; pregnant women have suppressed immune system. That help?
If a simple shot will keep my wife healthy then fine. I don't know any parent or future parent on this forum that wouldn't do everything possible to protect their family.

Again don't know where I said "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE." I simply stated the reasons for my wife and I to get the vaccination. You didn't quell anything as I wasn't fear mongering.
Climb off your high horse and come back to the community.
Oh and back to the topic.....Go Red Wings!!!!!!
