Has anyone tried enabling 3D on any of their games? What were your results? I'm going to try this tweak for 3D in L4D this weekend so I can use anaglyphic glasses.

I also noticed that nVidia sells a stereoscopic add-on for the GeForce 8xxx and later cards, but it requires a monitor that supports 120Hz refresh rate. My Samsung T260 only does 75Hz. This seems like a really cool solution, but since the glasses effectively cut the refresh rate in half, a 75Hz monitor becomes a 37.5Hz monitor. Has anyone tried this? Did you have seizures or did your eyes bleed? I don't want to blow the $200 on it if it sux.

UPDATE:
I installed the 3D drivers (couldn't wait!) and used regular red/blue glasses without applying any reg hacks or patches. I had to drop my L4D settings from HIGH to MED and lower res from 1080 to the next setting down. FPS was at 24 but lowering settings put it up to 36. You lose a lot of color detail, but this is truely a new way to play L4D. fun fun fun.. Unfortunately, everything looks fuzzy now without my 3d-glasses on.. this can't be good for you
